It can be a very solo and enjoyable experience, like meditation. Nothing like a morning ride on empty backroads to clear your mind or sort your thoughts.
But when anyone asks how to get or help getting their license I always say no. Risk is incredible.
You can be the best, most prepared, most defensive, most geared up, most well trained rider in the world. Still doesn't mean shit when someone else fucks up, or a deer runs out on you, or you hit oil or gravel. You being the best doesn't change the fact you're a sack of unprotected flesh on motorized bike zooming around tons of steel and aluminum.
Rain sucks. Cold sucks. Wind sucks. Having to carry your climate with you can be obnoxious, versus just hitting your wipers or turning up the heat in a car.
