Canada is basically Americans who happen to live just north of the official border, it's all a big ruse so we can manipulate international trade by trading amongst ourselves while giving ourselves a face the other countries don't hate as much.
They have been getting pretty uppity lately though so well probably end up annexing and making the union official some time this century unless they reel it in a little.
