I was pretty depressed and would literally sit at home and do nothing. Then I got into photography and it's forced me to become more social, leave the house, and has given me the opportunity to create goals and to crush those goals. So find something that you think you'll enjoy and try it out.
Your parents splitting up would definitely cause you to become depressed. It's a shitty thing to experience, and when your support structure fails then you're basically fucked. You'll need to figure that out before you can truly move on though, and you'll need to accept the feeling that come with it?
That's my advice for you bro. Also maybe get a journal, write your feelings, write your goals, write what you want out of life and make a map. Hold yourself accountable and become a man who follows his words, and makes life his bitch. Don't just idly live life depressed anon.
