Koreans are still shoving their shit into everyone’s mouth like an Indian at his first nude beach, and the Japanese - spooked as always by any success amongst the gooks - have redoubled their “cool Japan” efforts after being pretty insular in their marketing focus for the last few decades.
Look at the stuff western media companies, both music or film, are pushing currently and it’s largely soft boy stuff inspired by East Asian culture. Asian centered stuff is being produced by Hollywood for the first time, even if it’s just a few token efforts so far.
In the mean time the black creators that are left (besides the eternal and unflinching king Tyler Perry peace be upon him) have fallen for the cerebral meme, and so their shit isn’t marketable to Chink hypebeasts anymore.
Having said that, the Asian culture that is being pushed is one that has absorbed the smoother parts of black culture already. K-pop wouldn’t have had the big leap it had over Japanese shit in the 2000s and 2010s if they hadn’t embraced niggerdom. Some of us still remember.
