Farmers were always much more chill, especially in colder climates where you literally can't do anything outside for most of the year (rain, mud, snow) and even the good days were scattered with a gorillion Christian holidays that today are observed maybe by monks. They also didn't have to waste hours of their lives stressfully commuting in heavy traffic.
