Talking about military service, I have applied for the army about a year ago. It is not mandatory here, but I was really poor, and it pays well here. After completing the KCT (spec ops basically), I could continue to become a non-commissioned officer, but declined it.
So now I'm following a study for electrotechnical engineer for industrial buildings, and work night shifts at a postal sorting depot to make a living.
