Another actually gave you the clues, but they were really subtle, which is what made it so good.
It's so hard to get this object and I don't know if it's because cheerleading is an American thing, or if I'm just using the wrong words. Apparently, it can be called a megaphone, speaking trumpet, bullhorn, blowhorn, or loudhailer. But what I'm specifically looking for is the non-electric version which is what Bing gives me 95% of the time. Flux on the other hand seems to have about a 75% success rate with speaking trumpet, but using that word in Bing gives me the musical instrument trumpet.
