Just once in the left hip. I did like 277 miles in November and I was sore. So I backed off but not all the way and it was sore all through December. I'm ramping back up now. Last July I had something similar but it was a soreness in my right inner thigh, maybe muscle or tendon. I tried to power through it, big mistake I lost all of July.
That's why I'm taking stretching seriously again. I've also included targeted resistance training. I do a 5000 step warm up each day too. Something I've always done, except this past fall I'm not going to take anymore shortcuts for bigger numbers.
I do plan on clearing 300 miles in a month at some point this year though. It gets hard timewise with work and all but that's my goal for this year.
But really I've had two injuries so far and both I believe can be attributes to me not listening to my body and trying to take a shortcut. So I feel pretty confident.
