yeah, i just really enjoy the introspectiveness in general. there's also something that i like a lot about the fact that he seems so self critical without getting in the way of the fact that his feelings are genuine.
like he might think that white guilt is an absurd thing that doesn't actually make any sense or accomplish anything, but as far as i can tell that doesn't stop him from feeling it anyway. there's just something insanely based about accepting that sometimes there's a fundamental disconnect between philosophy and feelings and that doesn't invalidate either of them
