>>20870873i would ask why you want to take home readings in the first place. again, asymptomatic hypertension is meaningless. if you start to get dizzy, have changes in your vision, numbness, tingling, etc, i would follow up with your primary physician if you have one. i'd need to know more information about the individual who is concerned - which i am not asking here - age, weight, sex, race, pertinent medical history, comorbidities, etc. all that being said, a manual cuff with even a hunk of shit stethoscope being taken by someone who even has a rudimentary understanding of how to take a blood pressure is powers of ten better than a home cuff.
