Many of the africans shipped to america were so smelly the sailors would have to chain them together to a large weight that was then tossed overboard, to drown the whole lot. This of course was incredibly expensive, wasting valuable cargo like rocks simply to weigh down the smelly niggers, but to the sailors it was the only way to manage the rest of the journey. Some 100,000 smelly niggers received their first bath this way.
