>what make/model of keyboard is it?it's a yamaha, idr the model because it was a gift but it's basically the cheapest one that still is worth playing (weighted keys, pedal)
>yeah I don't know your level of urbanite scummerythat was in a smaller town a ways out from a city a couple years ago, at some church gathering. set up with a couple vocalists, played for maybe 40 minutes, got about $400 and food for it
>Older nobles are wealthier and if you play classical music in a world characterized by vapid nigger beats and over-played oldies, you very well might get a consistent source of dosh that way.them old church goers are for sure generous
the problem with doing gigs and stuff like that is you can only hit them every so often - i couldn't do that nightly at the same place without drastically diminishing returns (plus, you'd have to change up the set of songs). and you have to have a lot of networking to have multiple places to cycle through. i played at that place a grand total of three times over the course of a couple months
that's the problem about making money as a musician: it's actually not pure luck like people often say, but you practically never get any rest if you want to make a real wage since you're constantly preparing a new set or finding another place to play at. and holidays become your extra busy days since everyone likes live music then
>>9324164desu i have like three bookshelfs worth of books at least and i will definitely be getting many many more. the worst part is right now they are scattered between three states
