>>12189794yeah it's good to know that money isn't all completely down the drain. though i don't think minors are a thing outside of the US so they're pretty much ignored in other countries, so it truly is about the knowledge more than anything unless i ultimately end up not going to japan and doing something else entirely
well it's more of a logistical problem in this case. i'd already be there for school and i'd have classes and stuff still, so unless you just came for a weekend or specifically lined it up on a break it's not like i could slot out entire days for doing stuff. even if you did come when i have nothing else going on i'd still have dorms to stay in so you'd be on your own for stuff like accommodation at least. all of it goes double if i'm not actually in tokyo or osaka there's 2-3 hours of commuting overall to account for
