The boys were leaning on each other and playing with each other's hair. I told my wife that if any guy did that stuff back in the 80's they would have been ruthlessly mocked and loudly and angrily denounced as "fucking faggots" She agreed. Back then we had keggers every weekend that usually ended in a few fights before the cops came. A kid I knew father died and he basically inherited his house at age 18. Weekend shitshow. One party there broke up after someone turned off the lights and started hurling empty beer bottles at random. Finally crawled across the floor cutting my hands and knees on broken glass before finding the door. Also drove drunk and high regularly. Was stopped by a cop in back in 1988, and I pulled over on the left shoulder of a divided highway. Cop had to wall through deep snow in the median to reach my window. "Who taught you to pull over on the left side of the road"? I was so drunk I couldn't find my license in my wallet. Told me he detected the odor of alcohol. Didn't have proof of insurance, open beers in the car. Realized I was fucked. Shocked when he let me go with a warning for speeding. Must have caught him near shift end and didn't want hours of paperwork. He knew I was smashed but it was just not a big deal back then. Anyway I pulled over later and blew chunks. Good times.
