But as she threatens to have Sapphire separate Coco from Nikki's body, Coco quickly realises this isn't the same girl she directed Nikki to torment all those months ago.
"Are you insane?" Coco screeches. "We're a package deal, for all you know separating us could kill us both. Or turn us into braindead vegetables. Is that your idea of helping her? No, I didn't think so."
After the momentary scare of Amy's threat, Coco swiftly regains her composure, and tries to deprive Amy of hers.
"And of course I didn't glass you. After all, Nikki likes you now for whatever reason, and I've already had my fun with you." Coco giggles. "For instance, remember that match you had with Lightning Nika so long ago? Nikki wanted to jump the barricade and attack you there and then. But I reminded her how vulnerable your old friend Sola Fire was in the hospital. So I told Nikki to go there and stomp her on that cold hard floor. That bottle of water? Me. The poisoned fruit basket? Me. The tampering with your gear? My idea too. All me. You were my favourite toy, Amy."
Coco keeps a close eye on Amy as she speaks, watching and waiting for any possible reaction. "But even if I did talk Nikki into those games we played with you, I most certainly did not talk Nikki into trying to kill herself. If she did, I'm sure I'd die too. Can you imagine, dying after spending your whole life trapped inside of someone else?" She breathes in deep. "Without ever getting to experience the simple joy of breathing air for yourself?" Then she sticks a hand down the front of her skirt and giggles. "Without ever getting to experience any of the pleasures this body can feel? No, no, no. I plan to live for a very, very long time, especially now that I've tasted freedom. And that means Nikki will too, whether she wants to or not."
