>>15460010Use your peripheral vision, use your ears, keep your head on a swivel, stay focused, use situational awareness at all times, with practice this becomes easier over time, with meditation it becomes a godsend, and so long as you keep foremost on your mind that you are surrounded by two things that almost always will at some point in the day try to kill you
Nature
Idiots
Just that, nature, and idiots.
Use caution whenever possible, don't take risks just to be lazy, pay fucking attention to details and stay aware of 360 degrees at all times when out in the world.
P.s. nature respects 3 things
Silence
Violence
Aggression
Master these, especially silence, learn how to fox walk, and if sneaking around a home or building, remember to remove your shoes to reduce noise, as the old boys used to back in the day.
Also it helps to pray, to God, the universe, for it's protection, because the only thing left to do each morning I leave my front door behind is take that leap of faith and avoid any Final Destination situations, I don't even walk in front of my forklift at work without the hard brake pulled all the way back, and even then I turn it off sometimes, anyone who has seen Maximum Overdrive will understand why I treat automatons with distrust, if I own a knife and it cuts me when it falls or drops I will get rid of it, as it has tasted my blood.
So a mix of developed focus and Situatonal awareness(seeing the boulder coming at you greatly increases your chance to do something, anything to increase your chance to evade or survive with or without a few scratches, and has saved my life more than a hundred times)
And metaphysical positivity, so you don't draw in disaster by empowering it with thoughts and emotion.
