if you look at any list of alcoholic signs/symptoms the only one that ever is relevant to me is "it takes a lot for you to get drunk" and that is hardly a sign of alcoholism
it has never once been in control of my life or even gotten close to it
when the feelings get too much, i drown it in alcohol and thats the extent of it
