The cheapest and simplest food in the Russian Federation is the healthiest, it's not sugary Wallmart trans fat or whatever you devour, it's real traditional Russian food, full of a variety of useful nutrients for the body and not overloading the digestive system, light and healthy side dishes.
Add to it a piece of fried chicken, pork, or a Kiev-style cotlette, and you've got an easy "second meal". Add soup, salad and tea and you have a full meal.
I don't argue that this food is superior to any other, but it is healthy, tasty, nutritious, and inexpensive.
