>>21088399I did something like that @ 20+ mph on a fucking SCOOTER and shattered both elbows on impact after a short but eventful flight.
@ 60+ it’s goodnight Vienna.
It’s just shit the way that went down there he gave it power AND the front brake in the same 0.2 seconds, you can’t give it big power + front brake in the same 0.2 seconds with good brakes and not reap a big silly reward. You can lube your brakes - I’ve got my brakepad lubricated (yes you can but get used to it and don’t forget you have done it and still expect to stop on dime with it) but you have to live & learn and that’s another area of fail for Lucky the Ghost Rider in the OP. He didn’t live.
I clipped a sandbag btw, didn’t power up & slam on simultaneously.
He could have weaved, he had plenty of scope for not dying he has a lot of time but his brake was TOO good and his power was TOO good it’s an unstoppable object vs immovable barrier situation. The moral is this - If you haven’t got experience then you really should not be thinking of hitting the power band in moving traffic for a high. Or you are not gonna cope when it’s 1 in 100 day and that concrete smacks you so fucking hard YOU SHOULD BE AFRAID. If you are not afraid you know nothing. The fear is just the knowledge of the truth of things.
>everybody is looking at me. Watch this, WEEEEEE! aaaaaaRRRAAGH! <Crunch> Game Over I’m going to ride to the chippy now.
