I'm also thinking of getting a CDL. Nobody wants to pay for that training here except school bus company (HORRIFIC pay) or transit will treat you like a slave and you don't train for the actual CDL until a year in as you first drive community shuttle. Shuttle only needs regular license with the air brake thing. I'm thinking about doing it out of pocket while on vacation from current job..
Or i could just rope. That option is pretty appealing lately.
