Because God, the creator, is the collective will of all life, especially the higher life forms, and higher more so on and so forth.
So yeah, a simulation but one in which the main processor makes its own decisions, and those "own decisions" are decided by every part of the computer and what it "thinks/feels" including even the PCB and every bit on it.
So not holy, but this only works because th source can give free will and part out bits of it consciousness to do so.
Pretty damn important and very much so spiritual in nature. And holy in the sense that to us, its the reason, means and everything about everything that will ever anything in the everything for the rest of all things eternally, growing in light consciousness so that the construct self enforces and strengthens itself allowing for fourth expansion so on and so forth.
