Each state has their own style of celebration for young people to mingle, around where i live there are 9 nights of folk dance, and it is known that pregnancies in young adults peak at this time (i.e. 9 months from that time) and there's bhangra culture in north, and dances in wedding functions etc. there's a lot of different ways the same "club" experience is divided into already existing structure since millennia., intercollege functions, talent shows etc.
