>>5536306If you haven't played any other system fifth edition is good. It's very intuitive and easy to follow. You don't necessarily have to do as much work researching things as in previous editions.
In pathfinder and 3.5 you have to denote ie proof a lot of your specific skills. There's tons of skills to do all kinds of stuff which is good because of the b success vs failure systems keeping it balanced for the most part.
I'm on mobile so it's really hard to explain why 5e is so bad to someone like me. I like to build what I WANT to build even if it's an AOE 10d10 anti-paladin channel neg. energy 10/day back to back in a single round if I so please.
