i wouldn't say any parts of it are bad, but it's pretty unremarkable for a long time. eventually it gets insanely good out of nowhere, but i don't know how willing you are to sit through some very standard shonen antics for like 50 chapters.
it's also still coming out and right now we're in a weird position where every new chapter is 1/10th of a battle or a speech being dropped in the middle of said battle, which can be a little frustrating reading it week to week
that being said the manga makes it clear that okubo was exercising monk-like restraint when writing soul eater, so if you liked that you're really likely to find extreme joy reading at least some parts of fire force
