Get some battery tech and some actuators that minic fluid organic moments instead of rigid servos and we're on our way there.
Replika AI is already selling the AI e-girlfriend and it can hold conversation better than most femoids, as well as do that cringey * emotes * roleplay, but translate that asterisk shit into physical actions and you're pretty much there (the hurdle here is its ability to model itself and its world so it understands what it is doing to you and you are doing to it, who is who, what is what, etc.)
This is a huge project and even though globohomo corp will try to release their own, there are a number of anons trying to tackle this in small bites.
