there was this fountain on my way back from school and they fucked it up by redesigning it for no reason
probably just to spend their budget
but god why did they need to ruin it this way
it used to be like a waterfall that felt really nice to stand in front of, it was fairly big so there was all this cold wind being blown into you like standing in front of a fan, except kind of better cause there was the smell of the water in the wind so it was just really fresh, like chilling near the ocean on a really windy day
and i havent seen the ocean since single digit age so that was the closest i could get to that feeling, and i appreciated it a lot goddammit
when it was 40 degrees celcius in the summer you could stand near the fountain and not have to melt, on my way back from school even though i didnt wait there just those 5 seconds of walking near the fountain and having the wind blow was totally refreshing, unfortunately i never did really stand around and enjoy it cause i was too embarrassed to do that in public, ya dumb to think about now but i just thought id look weird then
i also enjoyed slowly training my eyes to stay open as i was walking by it, for a long time i couldnt do it at all cause pretty much anything makes me close my eyes, water or wind especially which is normal ig so i could barely even look at the fountain if i was anywhere close to it lol, but ya eventually i did manage to open them a little bit at least, like to squint level, which isnt much but for me its good
and this shit they turned it into
now it spurts water upwards in intervals, in some dumb patterns
you feel absolutely nothing from standing near it and it looks lame too
youd think from a redesign theyd make it look better at least, but no not even that, the waterfall was much cooler than this dumb spurting shit
i dont even see any kids standing there and staring anymore, its that lame
