1. A great mountain range that stretches from the coasts of Vadeem to North-West Kamistan. This mountain range is called "Atlureko", which in Vadeem's language means "tall shield".
2. Yerba has profited from the war from exporting precious metals such as iron, copper and silver mined from the Atlureko range to the warring factions. But due to this, the factions see Yerba as a friend of their enemies.
3. Ossetia has successfully waged war and annexed most of East Vulgaria up to the Pontinan river. Despite the success of their campaigns in the east, their expansion is halted by the bloody stalemate on the regions of Northern Kamistan and Qumar.
4. The expansionism of Ossetia angered the governments of Kamistan and Qumar very greatly. But the advanced of Ossetian forces was halted at the large river pass called "Ibairen". Ossetia has been suffering massive casualities on the southern front, thus they signed a white peace a year later. Due to this, Kamistan and Qumar had good relations with each other; providing security and resources in preparing for yet another war with their common enemy, Ossetia.
5. Ossetia originally ranged from the regions near North-Eastern Kamistan to the east. But their leaders decided to attack the weakening nation of Vulgaria, which is undergoing political turmoil for nearly a decade. They flanked and completely obliterated Vulgarian forces on the Atlurekon Mountains. Now that the war has ceased, the politics of Ossetia has been fragmented into the point of breaking. If they don't re-organize quickly enough, their people would face another war they cannot afford to lose.
