Obviously right wing Russian nationalists do, but based on what I've read I get the impression that the official Russian state position on race is that Russians are a Slavic/Asian hybrid race.
A lot of Russians seem to perceive themselves as being part European and part Asian, both in terms of culture and race. I get the impression that in general "whiteness" is not a big thing in Russia and that the government and the media tends to emphasise Russia's Asian heritage a lot in addition to its Slavic heritage.
