>>9217331I was convicted of Breaking and Entering, fifth degree felony. No jail time since it's was a first offence, but I got five years unsupervised probation. The worst thing is that I can't participate in higher society. I can't get a job that background checks (which is everything beyond McDonald's, even many blue-collar jobs background check). I'm getting a college degree right now, and I'm just hoping several years from now until I could potentially get my record sealed, but I'm basically in societal limbo right now. If it weren't for the support of my parents, I'd be a degenerate homeless bum struggling to survive. Worst thing I could do though is give up, I'm always trying to improve these days.
