people dont get new friends after their mid 20's either. i dont know my category but i have some new "adult" friends that i talk to regularly and so but i wouldnt care if i somehow never spoke to them again. my only true friends are those i knew from when i was 6-12 y.o even if if they live far away now and i just see/talk to them few times a year maybe
