>>7414360I don't its the zoomers as much as it is the by product of "cringe culture" leading to an environment where liking or having genuine interest things is wrong, and I'd bet that's a prevalent mindset in both Gen Z as well as the younger part of the millennial generation. I'm only 23, but I can remember the internet having a different ethos before social media came to prominence and dominated the internet. its not that they're aren't nerds among zoomers who probably would fit into the mindset of the internet of more than a decade ago, its just that online they're vastly outnumbered by their normalfag counterparts, to the point where social media bursts at the seams and /v/ is flooded with them.
