Finns have the N haplogroup, back in the days finno urgic population were 100% N haplogroup hence it's a valid shortcut to make between the "N" group of Y chromosomes and the finno urgic races
N are asians, just like aryans/europeans (R) (see the image of

they lived in siberia including finnland, but always the far north, never mongolia
The dominant haplogroup of ancient scandinavia is I, it is native (cro magnon were I, the first people in europe were I, the humans who met neanderthals were I), when you look at modern day finnland you see it is around 70% N and 30% I, in short they are two thirds finno urgic and one third nordic/germanic
they weren't turkic or eskimos, haplogroup I is very close to J or H/G, they were european natives, caucasian not asians, called WHG (western hunter gatherers) or EEF (same race but farming)
they had the phenotype of pic related, the weird nordic/swedish phenotype (to this day scandinavia is about 40% germanic so this phenotype still exists there)
they do have weird flat and round faces with flat upturned noses just like asians/mongols but that's literally a complete coincidence, genetics show they arent related at all, in fact the more normal looking regular celtic and slavic Europeans who bear the R haplogroup, and are considered "caucasoids", are more closely related to mongols than to nordics (still distant from both)
