They were never like the plains Indians and had very productive agriculture and a practically urban population density. The moment they met Europeans they fell in love and wanted to know everything about western clothes, western houses, white picket fences, Christianity, alcohol etc. If they hadn’t been laid low by disease it would have been a harmonious relationship. We probably would have teamed up to dominate all the tribes west of them.
