Speaking of big thoughts I watched the new downward spiral guy video that was posted last thread. And the comments are funny because it's sopranos brainrot but about a new topic so there's stuff like "the uncredibles, whatever happened there" / "I wanted the respect of my fellow poopers. I compromised. I turned the simpsons green" haha anyway he makes the point that the mafia used to stand out, but now the mafia is culturally irrelevant because the world has become mafia-ized, now all institutions are fraudulent and corrupt and cheat and steal...could it be true? To me everything feels so zero sum and like scams are around every corner, you have to constantly be on alert, it's very exhausting. And maybe it wasn't always like that because I see it every day with my grandparents who were raised to trust authority and the government, and that's why they keep getting scammed by everything, by the internet phone and TV providers who they are massively overpaying for, salesmen up-selling them for a better commission, and the TV license which in the uk is like a mafia protection racket on vulnerable and easily-intimated people. It's really distressing to see
