>>12040308One day I heard the microwave "chirp"; I am home alone.
As I get up to inspect, all of a sudden the house floods with VERY loud music seeping in from the hallway.
>I begin running upstairs, thinking it was the music studio non the second floor, but it soon became evident it was coming from the top floor. That floor was an apartment that various friends would use while in town, or, where we'd entertain guests if not working on songs.
>Anyway...I, myself, had hardly ever used the audio setup up there, and in a frenzy to figure out the correct buttons to push to shut the intense clamor off...I simply pulled all the plugs. What a racket, despite the song being a favorite.
Anyway, I go downstairs VERY perplexed, sitting back down in the living room, a bit shaken, wondering what the heck just happened.
>That's when it HIT ME. It was our wedding anniversary... Ronnie having been dead a few years already.Maybe it was a coinkydink, but suddenly it seemed to make sense. I thought back to the movie GHOST, as one of the characters keeps trying to find a way to communicate that's simple to announce his presence.
>A simple push of the "on" button might just have been that easy. Still, I checked solarHam to see if I could find any hint that something had spiked on their monitors.
Found nothing unusual. Who knows? Spoopy fun that never happened again.
Pic is from a webcam, but I forget where.
