People often wonder how Europe could be a continent when it is obviously just a peninsula stretching out of Asia, but the truth is that we call “Asia” is only so big because Europeans just extended that definition eastwards until half of the globe fell under that definition. Continents are such a useless concept. Cultural/geographic regions should be more split up like this.
