Why do women always have to push for "more" in a relationship?

You meet a woman and start dating. Everything is going fine, but then...
>She keeps pushing you for marriage "but anon, don't you love me? Don't you see all of your friends getting married?"
>you give in and marry her. But now she starts pushing for kids "but anon, my time is running out and I want kids.
>you give in and now have this kid that won't stop crying. Now she wants a new house and new car "but anon, we need a reliable and safe car to take our kids to soccer practice
>you give in. Now you have to take a promotion and work more hours to support all of this stuff
>wife starts saying you don't spend enough time with the family and she feels neglected. She asks for a divorce and takes half of your belongings and now you owe child support for the next ten years.
All of this because the woman has to constantly push for "more". They are neemver happy with the relationship and always have to "upgrade" to the next level.
Politically, why can't women just be happy that you are in a loving relationship with them and not always push for more?
