Ok I was in a situation where I was being treated really terribly and feared for my physical safety and I texted my pastor and asked if he could pick me up
>why don’t you just leave if you fear for your safety?
>because I have all my bags here, it’s 8 miles, I’m in the middle of nowhere, I’m not sure where I’d go and I don’t know anyone else around here
>8 miles isn’t much if you fear for your life…….
Then he says
>anyway I’ll pick you up, around 11:30
I asked him for an ETA a little while later he’s like “I don’t have one, maybe 11:30”. By noon I was like fuck this and went to random neighbors house to figure things out.
Honest opinion, was he right? It’s hard for me to look at other perspectives sometimes, but he came off like kind of an asshole IMO. Especially when he’s a pastor you would think he’d be little more willing to assist someone in need, instead he treated it like it was nothing and halfway blew me off. Finally I just texted him “I’m good don’t worry about it”. And he said “glad you’re ok” lol. What should I say to him do you think?
