all i can really do is to say what worked for me personally.
i found bliss and happiness by dedicating my life to two dirt-cheap hobbies: reading and training. so money will never be a problem. training can be done effectively anywhere and with minimal equipment if you're creative enough, and paperback books and pdfs are dirt cheap and often completely free.
i only eat whole foods that my body needs and have beans, rice and grains, which are cheap as shit, as my staple food. i've also started working on sleeping exclusively on the floor so i wont need to buy any furniture when i move out of my parents house, so i can spend more money on food and books. also, since i have autism i don't feel like i will ever need a girlfriend or a boyfriend, or any irl friends for that matter; so it doesn't feel like i have anyone i need to impress with material possessions.
i don't know if anything i just said did anything to help you, but i hope it got you thinking a little bit!
