Used to be one of my nonsense dreams to want to build a little Earthship somewhere in the southwest. I don't think off the grid living is going to be a wise idea over the next few years though. Hopefully I'm wrong. Goats and chickens. I'd have a tough time slaughtering either but I could if I had to. Goat would be real hard. I love the big sky. I love feeling small. I've always been fairly large and it's nice to feel like a speck sometimes. Nothing existential, just a suspension of ego and a peace at the slowness. I don't know how I'm going to speed up again and I know I have to.
