>>20333659Acts 9:3-5 (KJV) And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest:
Although, Saul thought he was sustaining his religion by persecuting Christians, he was actually persecuting the only hope he had of salvation. I used to feel bad for the souls that will reject Christ until their dying breath and probably burn for it for eternity l, but then I remember that they chose to curse God, as far as it depends on them, salvation is right there, but they weren't chosen to be part of the body of Christ, and will become perfectly adversarial as they are seduced by their new master, the devil. Their behavior throughout it all makes God's plan pretty clear.
