because i still think it's an important conversation because i can see how a reasonable person could arrive at the other opinion and i think it's an important conversation to have particularly for the sake of people who might be going through developing dysphoria. i think in a perfect world the idea of true transgenderism never occurs to anyone but since that's not the reality of the situation it's pretty vital to talk through.
basically i think it's a travesty that the opinion i believe to be wrong has gained such a crazy amount of traction traction, but i don't think it's necessarily bad that it exists in the first place
to be honest i've always thought of it as a chicken or the egg sort of thing. at this point i undeniably have some opinions that aren't exactly "socially acceptable" and am very desensitized to stuff like gore, but i don't see why i would've stayed here if i wasn't at least interested in these sorts of things in the first place. it's just a question of whether i'm a degenerate because i've spent half my life on 4chan or i keep coming back because i'm a degenerate
