Schopenhauer was right about women: they only care about what's in front of them, and they only know how to take. If you're in front of them, they will constantly take from you and will make you thank them for doing so. If you refuse, they will blackmail you, first with threats of leaving you, then of hurting you, then of suicide. I'm at that last stage with my wife, I don't know what comes after that but I'm not planning on finding out.
My theory is that women evolved this way in order to motivate men to abandon them and spread their seed. It's not good for the species for a man to fertilize a couple of eggs in one womb, it's much better for him to leave, so God/evolution made women become increasingly abusive the longer the relationship continues. If not for the legal system (alimony, criminal and civil liability for suicide) and stupid Judaic social norms regarding fidelity, men would not tolerate this shit. Literal institutionalized abuse.
