>>11266060I saw a company guy get laid off after 30 years on the job, Why? he cost too much and they were able to outsource his job to a crew that wasn't worth a damn, doing half his work in twice the time, always making mistakes.
I worked with another dude who worked for another company; he got fired for doing his job the same way he did for 20+ years, because they didn't want to pay his wages and insurance when he was set to retire the next year. "Safety violation" they called it.
At this job I worked, they gave us busted equipment that was a danger to use, but refused to replace it, repeatedly forcing us to move 2-300 pound freight with unserviced equipment. We frequently had to just make do.
At this same job, they gave impossible tasks to one person, like storing lumber and cement at the end of the day, which required the use of heavy machinery to move; this same heavy machinery required a spotter to use, and would result in termination if you were caught violating safety protocols. Needless to say I skipped that shit as soon as I could.
Don't even get me started on food service.
Fuck food service, that shit is a lawsuit just waiting to happen, the dirty motherfuckers.
Whenever I think about getting a new job, I think about having to work for these types of people, while I have to put fucking goobers on my back who slack off all the damn time and try to lay shit out for everybody else to get fucked for. A never-ending buddy-fuck. That's the job market with jews and minority-preferenced hiring practices.
What a privilege.
