I have 0 paid subscriptions beyond the bare necessities (water, electricity, phone/internet).
The money I make just piles up, not because the job is so cash-money (I'm a backend dev.), but because I don't spend it.
And besides, skill and knowledge are what allow you to get better paying jobs. There's literally no excuse not to study and learn new things. Every now and then do some camping, to give you some perspective. Gradually take less gear and spend longer times.
