But draugar weren't worthy or interesting enemies, and circular dungeons you fight them in felt like a weak attempt to weasel out of good map design. I hardly remember "war" thing anymore, it had "stubs" for interesting and controversial themes to play out but all of it tamed/dumbed down.
In modern terms, Elves cucked the Empire somewhere down the line, and now (((they))) use it to take over Skyrim. Who are supposedly racist against beast men and won't let Khajiit in their cities. Though it's somehow just fine for the protagonist - which makes me really miss old top-down RPGs like Arcanum where character race and stats affected dialogue options and predisposition towards it.
