For me that means I have to put probabilities on things I have no idea about, but at least I force myself to put down a number with the implicit assumption that the variance is huge.
Let me pose the question differently, do you believe there is 1% chance of you being hospitalized by the vaccine? Do you believe there is a 0.006 - 0.008% chance of you dying from that? On the flipside, if an oracle gave you the correct probabilities, what would they have to be for you to choose one over the other?
