Got to the bar.
Kind of a bumpy ride. Especially in Garbage. I didn't expect it at all there to be so many fucking mutants, especially at the first week of the game. I don't even have the population set any higher than default. I'm guessing it's because of the addon I'm using? It's intended for freeplay, so I wouldn't be surprised if it messes around with spawns and whatnot. Not that I mind, I feel like the one problem I had with my older playthroughs was just that I didn't get to shoot at mutants much. Of course, I know that it's important to have the world feel desolate enough and not give you encounters every 30 seconds, but it's also a bit too boring when I haven't gotten any interesting fights in too long.
Anyway.
I must've killed more than a dozen mutants going through it. Lots of variety for at this point of the game also, there were boars, cats, zombies and snorks all in a single close area. Funny thing is that if I had even one less Makarov bullet, I would've had another death. It was barely enough to kill the last boar charging at me. You know it was close when they die during the attack animation and have their ragdoll fly through you.
Granted, I could've played it much safer. Those snorks and zombies, I didn't even have to fight but I did anyway. Which resulted in me using two medkit counts and spending most of the ammo left from a TOZ-34 that I picked up. The problem wasn't even that, it was just that the gun had almost 0% condition left by the time I got finished, so I couldn't use it much for the next pack of mutants even though I had ammo.
Nor did I have to fight the rest, but I got a quest to do so from the guy in the depot, I forget his name.
Oh, and there's also that mutant parts sell for a fuckton to the trader there, I'm pretty sure more than any other in the game. You especially want to kill cats. You can get over a thousand's worth in mutant parts from just skinning a single one.
Charlim.
