i suppose technically they never talk about her age it's not strictly impossible that she's a child, but she's a hardened criminal, has been for a while at the start of the show, and is definitely characterized as the most mature and level-headed of anyone in the cast aside from being a bit bloodthirsty. most characters in the show have freakish proportions of some sort or another so anyone calling her a loli is definitely just clutching their pearls because they think her particular freakish proportions are problematic

i don't think complaining about grammatical gender is a polyglot thing unfortunately. from my experience it's one of those topics that everybody feels like an expert on for some reason
