>>9374935I think I generally agree with you, the pace of the book when it came to time actually passing in the story was pretty good, and the development of our characters. Not so much fluff, that I can remember right now anyways. And I liked the dichotomy of following Thrawn/Vanto and Arihnda. She's so cool as well, loved the part where she meet Tarkin and basically any other interaction where she was one-on-one and got to use her wits.
And yeah the constant descriptions of people's moods and actions got a bit tedious after a while, felt like an overly-eager narrator trying to set the mood for us too much
